Northeast Iowa Waukon H.O.G. Chapter

The Harley Owner's Group® is an organization reserved for people who own Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. The Northeast Iowa Waukon Chapter started in 1990. Members enjoy many activities and events including rides, picnics and parties. Of course, what we really want to do is ride, so we schedule many Sunday dinner rides, rally rides and fundraiser rides.

The chapter meetings are held at Waukon Harley-Davidson on the second Friday of each month beginning at 7:30 p.m. The chapter newsletter, "Road Adventures," keeps everyone up-to-date on news and events. Members are encouraged to write and submit road reports on their motorcycle adventures.

	DIRECTOR...Randy Ellis and wife Jan live in Castalia and they still drive their '02 Ultra Classic®. Randy works in Decorah as an electrican. He has held the directors position twice before this term. A two year term in '96-'97 & again in '01. Randy said he enjoys helping the chapter in whatever capacity it needs. Whether as an officer or as a volunteer. As the Director this year, Randy's goal for the chapter is to ride & have fun!
	ASSISTANT DIRECTOR...Jim Hyde lives in New Albin and is a retired John Deere worker. He drives a Road King® and puts BILLIONS of miles on it each year!
	SECRETARY...Jean Kane is from Oelwein. She is a Stockroom manager at City Laundering Company. Jean & husband Vic, have 2 children: Issac & Hallie. They also have a granddaughter. Jean drives a 1997 Road King®.
	TREASURER...Kay Brewster is from Spring Valley, Minnesota and is married to Ron.
	#1 ROAD CAPTAIN... Gary Gissel owns a construction company and lives in Independence. He has been riding bikes since High School, but has ridden only Harley-Davidson® motorcycles for the last 4 years. Gary and his wife Marieta both have bikes.
	ACTIVITES... Jim Reiser is from Bloomington, WI. He drives a 2005 FLHTCUI and also has a 1965 FLH (a family heirloom.) A few years ago, Jim switched from raising hogs to riding "hogs." He says it's a lot more fun and these "hogs" smell better too. He is currently a grain/beef farmer in his spare time when he's not out riding with his partner, Lyle Austin. Lyle works in Boscobel and has recently purchased a 1998 Heritage Softail®. Jim encourages all members to participate in H.O.G. chapter activities.
	SAFETY... Lyle Austin is from Bloomington, WI. He drives a 1998 Heritage Softail®.
	MEMBERSHIP...Jim Reiser
	LIAISON... Daryl Hinton lives outside of Postville and works in the Parts Department at Waukon H-D. He enjoys riding his Electra Glide® Standard with wife, Cyndy, and side car with their 2 children, Luke and Cayley.
	LADIES OF HARLEY... Marieta Gissel rides a 2002 Heritage Softail® and is married to Gary.
